Rush Radiosurgery Recognizes Two Years of Helping Cancer Patients

This month our center celebrates two years of offering cancer patients support and treatment using TrueBeam™ STx technology. Rush Radiosurgery was launched in 2012 as a clinical service of Rush University Medical Center and since then, we have treated more than 200 patients.

Some additional highlights:

  • Patients from across the nation have sought treatment at our center travelling from Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas and Florida.
  • Medical director Dr. Aidnag Diaz has been involved in numerous clinical studies including the launch of one examining brain tumor cases last year.
  • We’ve also worked with the Cancer Committee at Rush University Medical center to combine tumor data with the Rush Cancer Center, streamlining the care of patients.

We are honored to serve our community and look forward to another year of helping to improve the lives of our patients.
