Rush Radiosurgery Participates in Lung Cancer Vigil

Shine a Light Lung Cancer VigilTeam members from our center joined more than 100 people to participate in the Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Vigil with Rush University Medical Center. The vigil, now in its fifth year, is the largest nationally coordinated awareness event for the disease and is held to show hope, support and compassion for people living with lung cancer. Hosted by the Lung Cancer Alliance, this event was the first of its kind in the city of Chicago.
Ê
Attendees included physicians, patients, survivors and family members. Lung cancer survivors shared their stories and displayed artwork during the vigil. Glow sticks were used to honor those who have died from the disease.
Ê
We were so thankful for the opportunity to meet with so many inspiring survivors! Thanks so much to those who participated.
